WHAT IS A CHIROPRACTOR:
Chiropractors are trained health care professionals who specialize in detecting and reducing misalignments of the spine and musculoskeletal system.
Chiropractors treat patients by performing hands-on chiropractic adjustments in order to help with postural restoration, spinal alignment, nervous system function and maintenance of health. In addition to performing hands-on adjustments, they can also recommend exercises, assess and provide advice related to nutrition and maintaining or working towards optimal health.
When appropriate, chiropractors refer patients to medical doctors or other health practitioners for further treatment as required.
